I really enjoyed this workshop. This was the first time I tried painting and it turned out to be beautiful. I’m not the best painter but I guess once you’re surrounded by art and artists, something just motivates you to paint. And I loved my painting. Something about self-portrait and abstract felt so natural that once I started, I couldn’t finish. Thank you for the experience

Just like to say how amazing the workshop was on Saturday, I had so much fun however in the beginning I did feel a little anxious about how to go about my portrait but the atmosphere was so calming that I no longer focused on how to start, I just did it and my portrait turned out great… I loved the subject matter too. So thank you Jenny for such an awesome day, it was well worth it!

I am reaching out due to my positive experience at Jenny's workshop that I attended on Sunday.
I have been going through a rough time recently with this whole pandemic & know the connection between Art & Healing, but I haven't had time to relax and unwind. I thought that this workshop would be ideal, not expecting anything but a relaxing evening.

Jenny's presence, ideas & energy made me feel comfortable & welcome. It was fun, therapeutic & I felt at home. She gave me some knowledge on Expressionism which enabled me to unlock my perspective & be free with my approach to painting - usually I am quite rigid.

The ambience was lovely, she is extremely talented & is such a great host/teacher/guide & artist! She provided food & snacks, loads of great quality paints, a great canvas to paint on, a range of brushes & the gift of taking our self-portrait home.

I particularly enjoyed hearing about other people’s pieces & their take, also having to talk through my process was enlightening & hearing what others had to say about my piece as it also helped me learn about myself.

I can truly say I will be going back again. I walked away with a positive attitude, it was a chilled fun event/workshop. Would highly recommend, such a kind warm hearted artist with a lot of inspiration bursting from the seams!

The afternoon was one well spent day at the art studio of Jenny. She managed to realise the artist out of me, though I have not held a paint brush since I left school. I would recommend anyone to join Jenny's workshop, as I enjoyed the experience

I work a 9-5, an office job and have been working from home for a while now, so you’d think that I’d have the time, maybe, to set up shop in one of the rooms in my home and paint (which is my lifetime passion). But actually and unfortunately, even if I’m free in the evenings and on the weekends, I’d still be mentally chained by my 9-5 in my time off as I’d still be at home, my usual place of work. I figured going to Jenny’s workshop would get me out of my usual environment and will allow me to be creative again, even if it is just for a couple of hours, and I was hoping it would kick-start my creativity and I could experiment with some of the ideas that were in my head.

I had such a wonderful time in the session, the task that was set for us was good, we had an amazing selection of paints and brushes to use. We were supplied aprons as well, (I’m a neat freak so I was concerned about if I was going to get my clothes messy, but I left the workshop paint-free, thankfully). Jenny made us all feel so welcome in her studio, and her studio was also a good spot for myself to start painting for the first time in a little while. I felt so comfortable there.

I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone. I left the workshop feeling elated that I created something, something similar to what I’d conjured up in my head a while ago, and that it is now on canvas. Jenny’s Artists Workshop experience was the catalyst for this and I’m thankful she had come up this initiative!”
